Lemar has added a special cover version to his new album, apapting The Darkness' 'I Believe in a Thing Called Love' into a Marvin Gaye style soul number. The first play of this was in the Radio 1 Live Lounge in 2004. Lemar explained: "... I did on Jo Whiley's Live Lounge and it went down really well. It kind of became a party piece - I did it on my tour, and whenever I do gigs, and it goes down quite well, so I thought I'd put it on the album." The Darkness were so impressed with Lemar's cover of I Believe in a Thing Called Love that they have agreed to record with him. Lemar enthuses, "Justin [Hawkins] and I have been talking about recording. When I told him I wanted to get into the studio with him, he said he had been thinking the same thing. My fans go mad for that song, so the natural thing is to work together."
