Lemar spoke to the press after his show-stopping performance of 'Addicted to Love' with Jamelia at the Brit Awards on Thursday night, the first time they had performed together. "Jamelia is just great and a really good friend of mine,"  

Both singers went home empty-handed, in an ceremony criticised by the MOBOs for recognising all-white artists. Lemar said. "We both tried not to think about the awards. If I'd won anything it would have gone on my TV so I could look at it while I watch EastEnders."

Young Voices, M.E.N. Arena, 5/12/2005

Young Voices 2005 is on Dec 5 SCHOOLCHILDREN from across the North West will join together to form an 8,000-strong choir for the 10th anniversary of Young Voices on Monday.

The concert is aimed at encouraging choral singing in schools, and the organisers have persuaded MOBO Award-winning pop star Lemar to perform a solo number at the event as well as joining in with the choir.
